What has six legs, is ugly as sin, and looks like a starfish? I dunno, and thats where you come in... Any guess?

Can starfish actually have 6 legs??

yes thats those mini brittle stars.I have them all over my rocks and now alot more people have them too...some of mine have 5 and 6 legs I just checked

Really.. I always related Starfish to 5 legged... Thats soo strange. I got 2 tho. Thanks EmilyB , they came on one of the zoo frags i got from you

Starfish (class Asteroidea) usually have 5 legs however they can have many more than that. Brittle stars aren't true starfish and are a in a different class, the Ophiuroidea.
