Default glass baffle

I need get this glass section out of my sump that's trying to be a baffle lol
It is like only 5 inches tall or something has a peice of eggcrate an sponge in it.
I want to take it out and make another acrylic baffle like i'm planning on putting on the other end.
But I don'tknow how to get the glass part out of there without breaking the sump walls.
I want to take it out to make room for a skimmer.

I'm assuming that it is siliconed in. If that's the case then you can just cut out the silicone with a sharp razor. Maybe post a pick of your sump so we can see it in more detail.

if it is a rel tight fit you might have to just break it out really careful...starting in the middle

A fine Piano or gutar wire works good for cutting silicone too!
