I got this from a guy who said these were mushrooms, but they look more like a polyp of some kind!
Can anyone tell me what it is??looks lite pink with darker edges

It's a zoanthid... or if not then I think it's called a "palythoa" ??? or something similar.

Button polyp ... (related to zoanthids.. OCDP is correct, Palythoa sp.). Not a mushroom.
