Default mad at my clown fish

So last night i notice my anemone all closed up really tight, upon further inpection i notice bits of yellow tenticles on the substrate. After watching for a bit I notice my maroon clown ripping peices off. So I took him (anemone )out and put in hubby tank, I hope it recovers

I was so furious at the clown,
does any one else have their clown fish ripping there anemone apart???

Haha.. typical Maroon for you. If you didn't know .. they are very agressive, and are well known to be often too lovey dovey with their anemone. Heh.. I've seen my percs suck on the tentacles, but no agression. That's all maroon... and clarkii's are pretty agressive clowns as well.

Hope it recovers for you.

Those clownfish have a pretty strong bite. My clowns bite my hand so hard that it bleeds! I wear gloves now!
