I just got some from Big Al's for my Phosphate reactor too. It was like $1.69/ft I think.
I like it better than the HD/Rona stuff, because the Big Al's kind is dark coloured, which should help reduce algae inside the tube (at least more so than the 100% clear stuff).

Princess Auto. $.39/ft for clear & $.69/ft for braided. That's Uber cheap prices.
