Default Hammer not opening

got a hammer today.
3 head..2 are open...3rd one is closed. stringy white stuff coming out of it.
i think its cause my clown goby bit off a piece when i first put it in.
is it gonna be alright?

I bought a hammer coral months ago. When I got it I couldn't even see polyps in the second head. It never did open.....

I should add that first head is just fine =)

thing is.. it was starting to open up till the goby took a chunk of it.
now white stringy stuff is comin out of it. i can still see the polyps tho.

its just hidding. I think it should be fine. and that stringy stuff. I get that all the time when i add new things, it will go away

It should open up in time, its probably just stressed from the move. Keep your water clean and keep it in moderate flow and light.
