![]() Everytime I forget to turn back up my aerating filter after feeding my tank(I stopped using a skimmer due to noise), I have problems the next morning. It is always an Angel that dies or nearly dies. Sadly, today, it happened again. I had turned down my Millenium filter w/ venturi last night to feed my tank frozen food and forgot to turn up the flow before going to bed. Needless to say, there was a casualty this morning.
When I eventually set up my overhead sump/refugium in a cabinet, this problem will go away since I plan to run an AquaC Urchin skimmer in there. I will also set up reverse photoperiod. Having both the skimmer and reverse photoperiod will provide redundancy to ensure that my oxygen levels are high 24/7 and no more night time drops. |
