Default New Additions and some fun shots..

Well my Lawnmower Blenny is finally, after one week starting to show his face a little more around the tank.. so I took a couple pics of him. I also bought 4 sexy shrimp yesterday and a blue linckia (don't flame) Enjoy !

(heh, pics had to be taken with flash cause the bugger blends in so well with the rocks )

For size reference, the tan colored tube you see to the left of the sexy, is the tube of my hawaiian feather duster... these guys are extremely tiny, but extremely cool

and this guy is just hangin around ..

Can someone give me a rough ID of what type of SPS this is ? I forget the name.

and some random shots..

Very nice pictures. Good luck with the Linkia - have not heard too many success stories with them in small systems so I hope yours does well.

Well... I would hate to lose this starfish due to my own stupidity (not knowing they are IMPOSSIBLE to keep...) so maybe I should put this guy up for sale....

May I ask.. why are they so hard to keep? What is it about them?

As of right now he's not too, too active, but active nonetheless . I just don't want it to die like I said...

And thank you

From what I have read nobody really know what they eat or require to stay alive. Try searching reef central or look for posts by Green Bean who seems to know a lot about them. I'm not flaming you for getting one just trying to pass on what I have read. I really hope yours does well - I think they are awesome creatures and who knows maybe I will try one in my system as well. Keep us posted on how he is doing.
