Plan B for my 190g

Well I have been rethinking the waterflow on my 190g. I am turning myself inside out about drilling it and am really not comfortable doing it. Soooooooooooo What do you think of this?
Going with 4 tunze 6100's on a controller instead of the closed loop which I planned on (powered by a sequence barracuda and Ocean Motions 4 way)
This will give me over double the water flow.......and........I WON'T HAVE TO DRILL MY TANK! I would attach them with magnets so would be able to have 2 down low in my tank and 2 up high. I think I could hide them in the rockwork somewhat (still want to be able to access to clean and service) so the only thing that would be visible and probably bug me somewhat are the cords.
Input and suggestions welcome please.

Hi Ruth,
I am going to try the Wave2k waveboxes in my 180g. Part of the reason is to have an alternative to all the hassels of plumbing in the OM 4way and other closed loop issues. If you can hold off a few weeks I'll let you know how I make out.(the boxes should be here tomorrow).
Also, looking on the Oceans Motions website there were a few alternatives of closed loop systems that didn't have the tanks drilled.

I already have the OM 4 way as well as the barracuda pump so it was not so much the plumbing that is getting to me it is the drilling of the tank. Look forward to seeing what you think of the Wave 2K. Do you have a link to the web page so I can see what they are all about. Thanks

My tank sat in my basement for 3 weeks before I got up the courage just to take it in to get drilled. I was so paranoid they would bust the glass. It took 5 minutes and they were done.

Then again, doing it yourself is another matter, but I hear acrylic is pretty darned easy.

Well the other thing is that I would have to drill 10 holes. 8 for the return and 2 for the drain (or whatever you call it). And besides at the end of the day if I go with the Tunzes I will have over double the flow.

Ya I'd be a bit more paranoid about having 10 holes in my tank Not drilling sounds much better

Acrylic is easy to drill.

i'd get a wave box and a couple of 6100 if money is not an issue
