Default Coralife Power Strip - Timer doesnt work!

I have read some awful threads on reef central about the Coralife Dual Power Strip and Timer. In my experience, the timer stopped working after 4 months. I read that one even caught fire and melted an acrylic tank!

I think I will switch to a metal power strip and just use regular timers.

Any other experiences out there?

Raq

a few times a year canadian tire puts its digital timers on sale for under 15 bucks so you can stock up for cheap.

I can vouch for those as well. I bought two at Lee Valley for under $10 each and they run my whole system.
