Default Want to Record Finch Songs

Got some new finches a few weeks ago, some of which have beautiful songs Would like to borrow a computer microphone to record them. Please PM me if you have one you can spare for a few days. TIA

What kind of finches, I used to breed Shaft tails and they had the most beautiful song. Love finches.

Doug,

We're not into breeding finches, so we have only one of each species to keep the aggression low. Male blue capped cordon blue, male orange cheeked waxbill, female red eared wasxbill, male strawberry finch, male gold breasted waxbill, female firefinch, and a very young male society who is so full of vim and vigor - he's hilarious. Aviary, 5' x 2' x 6.5' tall, is now full to capacity

Very cool, I heard the Cordon Bleu's are hard to feed. There is a woman out here who has converted her back yard to an aviary for finches, it's quite the thing to see, she has breeding pairs everywhere.

Cordon bleus are not at all hard to feed, neither the wild caught red cheeked we had years ago, nor the captive bred blue capped male we now have.
