Default It's a Boy!!

Thursday, November 25, my son, Thornton Forest Collins was born.
8lbs 6oz of chubby cheeks and sleepless nights.

I've included a picture of him with my wife Lisa shortly after the birth. I'll be sure to show you more once he's not so purple.

Congrats.

You will find your aquarium goes downhill in the next few months, this has been my experience after having kids.

Congrats. Has your chest come back down to normal size, (I swear mine expanded to 3 time it's size when I first held my son)?

My wife and I are expecting our second in the next few weeks... and we just got past the sleepless nights of our first one . Is this your first? Enjoy every minute of it.

Once again, congratulations.

Wow - good job, Tim. He look just like you!

Nothing quite like those first few days, is there? Many congratulations to you both!

Hey great job! Must be something about being a reefer. I had my baby boy Dec 1 yesterday, and he was 8lbs 6oz. what salinity do you keep your tank at? What are some of your other parameters?

Thanks for the congratulations everyone, loks like I'm not the only one who likes to keep these little critters.

shao, love the kalk comment! Gave me a much needed giggle on another sleepless night.

Yeah, this kind of puts things in perspective, trilinearmipmap. The first night Lisa and the baby had to stay at the hospital she warned me not to be up all night cruising for fish info. My reply was, "What fish?". Instead I ended up ordering a couple fun touques for Thornton over eBay!

Yes, cc_bruno, this is our first. Hope we don't ruin it. Is it normal when they projectile vomit? Good luck with your newest addition.

Alan, there is NOTHING like these first few days. Every night I get to sit in front of the tanks while I feed and / or burp the baby until he falls asleep. I'm very fortunate.

SeaHorse_Fanatic, Lisa deserves a lot of "Atta-girls", she did a great job! Only 6 hours of labour and no meds whatsoever! The doctor almost didn't make it there in time. I was starting to think I would have to scrub and change into some hospital greens!

Congratulations to you as well Gools! Must be the common size they ship them out these days!

Thanks again for the encouragement folks,
