Hydroids?

Hi Everybody,

I have a hydroid type growing on a couple of my rocks. Their stalks are a little thicker than a hydroid and are brown with very tiny 'heads'. Any idea of what they are and how to get rid of them?

I would love to show a picture but Photobucket doesn't work on Windows XP and I don't know another way to upload pictures onto CanReef. (yes, I admit it, I am dinosaur)

If whatever it is you don't want just cover it with a thin piece of reef epoxy. If you try to pick it off it could break into little pieces and spread.

If it's hydroid I'd take the rock our and kill it Cuz I torched it after couple months it grew again
When you burn it , it will smell bad
