![]() I came home today and noticed that my aquarium water looks cloudy. I looked to see what was going on and saw this. My clam was spawning.

![]() Been there, done that. I was clam-sitting for someone and when they didn't set up their new tank in time (as they had promised), their clams decided to do a mass spawning in my reef tank. House smelled like low tide at the wharf, water was so cloudy you couldn't see to the back pane, and fish & corals were completely unhappy. Skimmer overflowed and lost all my sps and most of my lps to the spawning event. So yeah, do some major water changes to get your water quality back up to par or you'll be sorry.

![]() They will often do that when they are stressed and near death as a last ditch effort to save their genetics. Hopefully thats not the case for you.
