![]() In the bottom of reactor chambers I have seen a few different styles of bases, one style is nothing, substrate is poured directly into the chamber. Another is a plastic spacer sometimes with slotted or drilled hloes, sometimes with a screen or with a sponge.
What is the "better" system in peoples opinion.... Thanks for any info Quinn |

![]() The foam or drilled spacer is used to protect the pump from sucking up media if the pump inlet is plumbed to the bottom of the reactor chamber.
