![]() My wife and I are sort of bored with this tank so we are gonna put it on the market.
180 gallon tank with dual overflows and dursos. Starfire front glass. 360 lbs of sugar sized aragonite. Approximately 350 lbs of rock. All hard pvc plumbed with quick disconnect unions, 2 quiet one pumps, Aqua C EV 180 skimmer, 50 gallon refugium with 8 inch sand bed and 20 plus pounds of miracle mud, it is full of life and caulerpa which has never crashed, auto top off, 1 175 watt 10 k metal halide set (hamilton) - up on a light rail that moves back and forth accross the tank (probably only 150 hours of life has been burned on it because we only had it going for an hour everyday at dinner time), Ice cap 660 ballast running 3 165 watt 6 ft vho bulbs with annalux reflectors, oak stand and canopy, 12 gallon sump, 2 maxi jet 1200 powerheads An anemone and Mag float included as well. I will throw in the timers and powerbars too The refugium is light with NO lighting and pc lighting as well Fish included - -2.5 ft zebra moray - 3 blue damsels - a large lunar wrasse - blue spot Naso tang There has never been any flatworms at all, never been a single aptasia, never had a big algae bloom. Very healthy system and the water is changed every 2 months 70 gallons at a time. All corals seen in pics included. There is about $13000 dollars in this system Selling for $5000 obo Not parting out, so no inquiries on equipment, rock, or corals....we are not in a rush, or not in a pinch financially. We feel the price is reasonable, so serious inquiries please. Thanks, des |

![]() Des I'll PM you and you can send me the photos.
This is an amazing tank. If I had the space and the money I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I am probably gonna have no tank in its place. I am fascinated more with the farming aspect of the hobby now. You've seen my basement... I love watching the corals grow and the corals in the 180 have just grown to almost the max, so I will continue the hobby in the basement and just have fun. As soon as my wife takes the pics, I will email them to you, what's your e-mail addy? Thanks, Des |

a year ago we would've asked 6 grand for the tank, but hey, we see it as paying for a good education and learning.... The tank is pretty much maintenance free now....maybe that's why I'm bored.. Thanks for the offer on hosting the pics...we'll see, I need to take some pics first..heh heh.. des |
