WarDog will become famous soon enough
Default S.O.B. Shrimp

Seems I've got a rouge Peppermint in my 65 that has taken a liking to my limited LPS. Stripped half a hammer so far and just saw him starting on the Frogspawn. Pretty upset, considering all the inverts are fed every 2nd day with mysis. This SOB has to go! Just moved the hammer over to the 20 gal QT.

Looking to possibly replace him with a Cleaner Shrimp, are they coral safe?

My cleaner shrimp has never done anything "un-reef safe" to my corals, always out and about, sometimes cleaning fish (or just giving them a massage). You should be good to go.

You sure it's a peppermint and not a camel shrimp? Very similar looking however the camel is known to harm corals like this.

+1 on cleaner shrimp. Never had any issues with them.

All shrimps can and will steal food from LPS by reaching into the mouth of a LPS or ripping a LPS apart. I saw my cleaner shrimp stealing food from my acan numerous time.

I had a peppermint shrimp that loved to eat any of my lps that was red. Ate every acan with any red on it. Needless to say have not had any since then. Little buggers
