![]() Hey so lucky me I snapped the little drain pipe on my skimmer cup when j was using the tube to empty it, didn't crack or anything just the little 1/2 inch Drain that comes down off the bottem of the cup snapped off any ideas as to "glue" it back on or is there like a plastic weld of some sort ? Don't think I need a new skimmer cup if I can just get this back on some how
Thanks Craig Dillman

![]() You can try drilling into the cup just small enough to create an interference fit and a dab of silicone for a seal. I've done that before.

![]() If it's made from pvc you could always try some weld on pvc glue.
Picture? For a better idea of what you're dealing with. |

![]() Do you use the drain? If it's just there for a plug, super glue will hold it good enough (provided that's not what's keeping your floor dry). You can even drill it out and put a little rubber for plastic plug in there too. If you use it as a drain, the proper way is to buy some Weld-on 14 and an applicator for it.

![]() Looks like it may be acrylic. If the Weld-On 14 doesn't work then I would try some Methylene Chloride from a plastics shop. Not sure if you have an Industrial Plastics and Paints in Leth?
