"New Posts" (mal)function

So normally if I hit the "New Posts" button I will see all the posts from my last login. Lately, if I login at around 7:30 or 8 am it's only showing me a couple posts even though I haven't logged in since the evening before or sometimes the morning before. It's almost like it's failing to log me out when I leave. It just started doing this about 2 weeks ago. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm going to start hitting the "Logout" button when I leave and see if this helps. Usually I just close the window (which is what I've done for the last decade ).
