Okay I want to do some reading and was wondering what some good books on reefing and saltwater in general are.

Check out Aquarium Corals by Eric Borneman , and The Reef Aquarium by Julian Sprung and Charles Delbeek Volume 3 especially.

My favorites are ones by Martin Moe, Bob Fenner, Paletta, Michael, and Tullock, in that order, in addition to the ones already mentioned. I particularly like Moe and Fenner, because they have a very common sense, voice of long experience approach.
