Default Hydroton clay for reef

Anyone using hydroton clay balls in their reef filtration system. I've heard they are very porous and will help with beneficial bacteria.

I used it in a reactor for 2 years. Only reason I took offline was needed room for dosing containers.

Albert_Dao also runs it

Can't say if it helped but can say no negative reactions

I run a big net bag of Hydroton balls in my sump, supposed to take the place of LR I'm told because it's very porous. Seems to work well.
Hey Jorian I have a 1/2 a sack of the stuff if you need some.
