Default Used live sand

So I have about 30 lbs of Fiji Pink that I used in a failed set-up around 6 years ago. It saw salt water, but never any cycle, fish, corals, or live rock.
I am wondering if I could use it now? As I said, it has been sitting in a tote for 6 years. It is not wet, but still moist. It will clump in your fist.

The rocks are overstock from my freshwater tanks.

If you rinse it decently there's not really a reason not to. Especially since all it ever got was wet. For all we know, the bags we pick up could have been sitting in a warehouse for years before we bought them, and before that they were either on a beach or wherever it is they collect that stuff for hundreds to thousands of years, so a few more years in a tote with no organic inputs shouldn't have hurt anything.
