![]() Just looking for a 1/4" John Guest ball valve with speed fit. Wondering if someone has one I could buy, this weekend, hopefully nearby. I was going to get it at Andrew Sheret Langley, but they are closed this weekend. I have seen the Watts brand, but they have leaky reviews, not willing to take that chance.

![]() Ian, you're not looking to use a Speed Fit on plastic tubing are you ?
If so, I'd recommend you use Quick Connect instead Speed Fit is meant for copper and compresses the pipe. Not good for RO lines ![]() As stated above, Home Depot has these things in Quick Connect made by Watts, but I don't think they carry the JG Speed Fit line |

![]() Maybe I used the wrong terminology, lol. You might be right, quick connect, is that what's used on the ro/di ? Thank Gregg.
I'll hit up HD or Lowes tonight or tomorrow.

![]() I don't understand what you're worried about
These fittings work just fine Just buy them and go with it bud ![]() The only thing you need to know about them is you have to make sure they (the hose) are seated fully to make a great seal The hose goes into the fitting quite far so you'd be best to test-fit a couple pieces to start off with And make sure your tube ends aren't sharp so they don't mess up the o-rings inside the fittings |
