guaging interest in hosting a fragswap for calgary

we have been toying around lately with the idea of having a fragfest type event , we are undecided if the end of august is a good date and if anyone is interested in bringing frags, supplies, or hardware .

we would set up tables and prop tanks as well host a bbq.

so it comes down to time , we want to do an outside event so end of august is ideal but is this a good time and enough time for anyone?

anyone can bring what they like and sell what they like , if timing isnt good we can also plan an indoor event for a later date

as a sponsor we would offer some prizes, food and discounts to everyone who attends

Seriously though guys it's about time we set up a local frag fest.

we have sponsorship , sales and a place all we need is attendance.


So what would you guys like to see and do and when do you all think a good time frame is

If we can come together as a group I'm.sure I can set it all up , kien would you like to help organize this?

We would also need some volunteers for both clean/set up and to help out with the festival

I think it's a great idea and yes we are well overdue for one. I can help organize. As always with these sorts of things it's going to be virtually impossible to find a date that will work for everyone (especially in the summer). You kinda have to just pick a date and then make everyone else schedule around that But let's pick a date that people are generally happy with maybe.
