![]() I had purchased a rock with a few mushrooms and a toad stool attatched but in the process of relocating to a new home the coral just fell off the rock and now is free floating in my tank... I had tried to use the putty I had bought to secure my rocks but don't seem to hold on to the coral's base very well.. HELP!!

![]() ![]() A couple of ideas for you, (lifted from various web gurus etc). My favorite: if there are pieces of gravel or rock stuck to the coral, super glue that to the rock...toad will attach soon after....zoo and shroom method. The other, I have had mixed results with, is impalling or wedging..with a plastic toothpick or sword into the rock for a week or two. Also you can run fihing line trough a hole (via sword) and lasso the rock....cut stitch later or carefully use a rubber. If the coral doesn't get infection (knock-on-wood) the only probs I had was the water flow ripping the frags loose..and I get to do it again...never did find that orange rici ![]() Good luck, hope you don't get too slimy ![]()

![]() Toadstools are very easy to attach. I have done dozens. Just get a small Tupperware type of container, put some rubble in it. Stick the Toadstool in the container, and wedge a couple of pieces of rubble between the stalk and the container. In a couple of days it will attach. Then remove the pieces of rubble you don't want from the stalk.
