![]() I have 120ish pounds of rock in a garbage pail running off the side of a 70 gallon and I'm curious to no if it needs light to do its job like grow pods and other forms of life

![]() Should still function fine for biological filtration and supporting pod colonies, feather dusters etc. Obviously, coraline and other types of algae aren't going to grow.

![]() Would adding a low power nothing special light help with any bio filter stuff is so what could u recommend
