| Krylon fusion Hi reefers! Im setting up a new tank and I painted my overflow box with the Krylon fusion waited a month or so to let it dry.I put water into the tank and I can smell the paint still. Does anyone know if the smell is going away and how long I have to wait before I can put my tank upstairs? Please thanks |

| No because it's full of water rightnow and it's in the garage running, I can't bring it upstairs because of the smell so strong. Is there any other way or wait more time do you think? |

| the other thing you could try but its messy as heck is get some baking soda and a bit of water and paint it over the paint. let it sit for a day or two and wash off. this is the method i used to get the plastic smell out of a wine fridge when i was making a humidor

| i think almost all paint needs over 16 degrees to cure properly. more time in the cold may not help it

| paint drain the water to expose the overflow and direct a heater at the overflow |
