Default Tank Relocation needed

Hi folks:
I'm a newbie to the reef tank hobby, and I am looking for someone I can hire to move an 80 gal. saltwater tank c/w livestock from Onoway to Sherwood Park. Any ideas?

You can borrow some buckets from your LFS and move it on your own and spend the money you save on new corals! It is a bit scary but with a couple of friends you should be ok. Sorry, I know you were looking for a reference for hired help but I thought I might throw the idea out there .

If you are going to move the tank, use new sand as I didn't and got a big cycle 5 weeks after moving it. The sand has all kinds of crap in it that releases if you mix it up.
Another newbie, Leanne

How big is your tank, what else do you need to move with it?

I have a 90 gallon poly eth. Tub you can use if you want. Several people on here have used it several times for moving. Lmk, and you can borrow if need be, thanks,
Bob

I've moved all the way up to 300g stocked and 375 dry. With a 3 man crew I would have to check into man power and time frames but I could possibly assist in the move. Could you provide me with more info on the tank so I can further assist you in planing. New sand is likely not needed at all 4 moves no new sand all went to buckets for transit with no cycle ( one move lasted 36hrs ) with no losses what so ever.
