Hey guys, can I use Dow Corning 786 rtv sealant in a tank? I was told to use rtv sealant but this stuff says it is mildew resistant. Thanks!

If it has mildew stuff then NO do not use it

Ok then next question I already used it but it hasn't had water can I just take all the silicone off and redo it or is that tank shot now?

I would just take it all off and then clean where it was with alcohol.
Remember though, take it all off. New silicone does not stick to old.
When I redid my tank, I used new olfa knives to cut and scrape. Worked well, just a lot of elbow grease
