my 500 gallon reef tank

Hello my name is Steve and I live in Montreal.Over the past years I have had several tanks.Started with a 90 then 150 then 300 and now a 500gal.I have had my tank for 1 1/2 years but the only problem is its not finished and I am still in the building phase yet I have LR a few corals and 36 fish in the tank but no real filtration since I have yet to complete my sump room.I know I did things backwards but I was in the process of moving so my old tank was dismantled,I bought a pond sump and had that running in my garage.I then bought the 500 gallon tank but lost my job so things went from slow to dead stop.I then found another job but it wasn't full time and after not working money was tight so as we all know we need money in this hobby.

My tank:Its 8ft x 4ft x 28 inches high made by Tenecor it has an external coast to coast overflow thats 4 feet long, 12 inches deep,and 6 inches wide.

My stand:It DIY wood stand made with 3/4 plywood thats glued and screwed together with over 1000 screws.I used 2x4 on the side and I doubled the 2x4 for braces along the top of the stand.

Lights:ReefTech Led fixtures 180 watts.I bought 4 new units that have just come out on the market.The lights have sunrise,sunset,cloud,thunderstorm effects.The lights can be dimmed by cable or via the blue tooth.Its pretty dam cool how you can control these fixtures and what you can do with them.You can control the spectrum blue white and royal blue and its all done via there software.

skimmers:I have the SWC twin cone and I have a large dart NW skimmer that I had custom made by Orca skimmers in the states but now the guy is no longer in business.

Pump:I have 5 tunze pumps in the tank with there multi controller but I plan to use more pumps.I had the wave box but the pump failed.I don't fell like buying a new pump for it.They take up some real estate in the tank so I would rather just buy the larger tunze pump.

Return pump:I have a dart pump but I might go with the dart gold or an internal pump like the laguna but I would use two of them.

I have a lot of left over equipment from my other tanks that I may or may not use.
