How does Vancouver work?
Ok I haven't been to the coast since I was a wee lad and I'm intrigued by how everything is Coquitlam or Burnaby or Rosedale. I know Calgary is larger by area than Vancouver, and depending on how you measure it, Calgary is even more populous than Vancouver (the actual "city" of Vancouver only has half a million people). So when we are talking about North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam and Abbotsford, are these municipalities similar to something I am more familiar with such as Ogden or Bowness or Harvest Hills, or the northeast or southwest, or Airdrie and Okotoks? In other words, are these neighbourhoods, communities, districts, boroughs, train stops, cities? Someone clarify for me. I guess this is somewhat similar to Toronto and its York, Newmarket and Mississauga.
