I purchased a new Dow membrane. It says "rinse under pressure before getting wet"??????"
What do you do before installing a new membrane ? |

I suspect they mean hose it off before you install it and then run a few gallons of water through it before you start to use it for its intended purpose.
I'd consider emailing them and asking them what language the instructions were translated from...see if they get the hint Doug |

I believe running 5g thru it is recommended before using it for drinking, etc.

Hey Deb,
Definately run 5-10 gallons through it. The membrane may have a chemical used to preserve it before use. Wanna make sure you flush it well. Mike |
