Default Tank has gone topless

My 20H has gone topless. I finally figured out how to hang the 12" pendant I had made to order at Quickgrow. I am currently using an AB 10000K bulb of indeterminate age. When I get the new bulb from Venki to replace the yellow one I will try that. Although the bulb in a bit old, and the output is down i do enjoy the ripple effect.

Actually I want to do the lighting with one bulb, as there is no room to add actinics in that setup.

The tanks are in a small room on the lower level of my townhouse. The 50 is five feet away and is picking up some free light as well. Also if I close up the side I lose some light in the 20. So I will probably leave it be.

hmmm. how about the 20k bulbs then? they seem to be a bit more blue....

I am really partial to actinics... if I could, I would run only actinics cuz they make everything look funky

AHHH different strokes for different folks. I want things to look natural and real. I would be happy to do without actinics. I want the PAR.

I was thinking of running 14,000k bulbs instead of working with 10s and actinics..

14000K might be worth a shot. I did like the Venki 10000K for the few hours it worked before it went yellow. For now this 10000K AB still has a lot of punch, and will do until I get the new one from Venki. My six line wrasse really looks great under that light.
