I was just wondering if anybody has any success putting a neon dottyback or an orchid dottyback with cleaner shrimp. Or will I just be feeding my dottyback an expensive shrimp meal? I have a 175G tank.

			 Hey Tigger,

My roomie's got a Orchid Dottyback in with two cleaner shrimp and they have all been fine for over a year now. However, when he bought those cleaners I would say that they were at least 6-9 months old. I think if they were really small sized juvie shrimp, then you may be adding some expensive fish food cheers, Rich

My cleaners are about 1.5 -2 inches in size. Hopefully they will be big enough.

I have heard though that neon dottybacks might be more likely to eat shrimp than orchid dottybacks. Have you heard this? |
