http://www.earthfiles.com/ http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/628a8500-f...44feab49a.html Moscow stray dog waiting for the 8:10 subway to Tverskaya, Russia. Reporter Susanne Sternthal of the U.K.'s Financial Times reported on January 16, 2010, from her Moscow base, about seeing a German Shepard-type dog “waiting on a metro platform. When the train pulled up, the dog would step in, scramble up to lie on a seat or sit on the floor if the carriage was crowded, and then exit a few stops later. There is even a website dedicated to the metro strays, www.metrodog.ru, on which passengers post photos and video clips taken with their mobile phones, documenting the savviest dogs of the pack that use the public transport system like any other Muscovite.” Image © 2010 by Maxim Marmur. |
