I just used an every day masonry bit. Start with a smaller diameter bit and work your way up. If you try to drill too large a hole the rock may break. Also, do it outside and wear goggles: it can be quite messy. Have fun ![]()

What size of hole are you drilling. I have 4 or 5 small diameter masonary drills if you want to borrow them. They are good enough for small diameter dowel system. Tom R |

![]() Don't forget a hammer drill if you can get one, depending on the rock and hole size it may be quite tedious without one.
