I have that book. It suggests Surgeonfish, specifically members of the Zebrosoma genus, as well as angelfish and diadema urchins as well as removal by hand for control methods. Not really much info but it raves on about the desirable filtration effects. It also mentions that C. lentillifera (grape caulerpa) and C. nummularia (which I just discovered a patch of, &^$%!) are particularly difficult to control and can smother or injure corals.

Maybe you're feeding him too well. My tang is colorblind. I told him to go for the green. Instead he is eating my nice red caulerpa which has been thru hell and back with me over the past 2 years.

Go figure.

My RS sailing tang doesn't touch the stuff. I wonder how my yellow would do for it, but I'm not into swapping tangs/tanks (one tang in each tank) and I'm not into taking a piece of the grape and putting it into my one non-infested tank.

Rabbitfish seems like the only viable option. Maybe some of the bigger tangs are better caulerpa eaters, but my experience (and hence opinion!!) is that we shouldn't look to tangs for controlling caulerpa.
