Default Vertex Electronic MH Ballasts

Just wondering if anyone has been using the Vertex Electronic MH ballasts.

If so....... what are your impressions?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Vic

I'm curious too what people have to say. My plan was to order 2x250w next week. Rumor has it they are the same as Icecap ballasts ?

Same ballast as icecap, I've got one of each running the same bulb and reflector type, only difference is the color of the ballast casing, everything else is identical.

I have also been told they are the same as Icecaps by someone from proline. I am running a Vertex and Icecap in my 3 x 250W fixture and would say they look very similar. If anything the Vertex may be slightly brighter. I haven't tested them with a PAR meter but hope to sometime soon.
