So it was time to replace my 175 MH's. So rather than replacing them with 100.00 Bulbs I opted for Reef Optics bulbs which were 50 each. Does anybody else have a comment on these bulbs?

In my opinion and Experience if you can stay with a good name and a good kelvin bulb then keep it going. once you find a good spectrum that your tank grows with , it shouldn't matter. Good with the lights that you like even if its 50 more.. you can always save so much per month to get your bulbs that you like that is what i do

I am still waiting for the bulbs to "burn in". Right now they are very blue. I have a 12k in anothewr tank and difference in the blue side like night and day. Maybe I should change the 12k as well.
