![]() Well I'm just about ready to start setting up the new tank. It's a 225 gal Sea Star with starphire front (72x30x24 high). I really like the 30" depth. It came with dual overflows and 4 holes drilled. A nice custom-built oak stand and Aqualight Pro lights.
I've painted the back black and put together the plumbing for the return. After Labour Day I'm going to pull down some drywall from the basement ceiling and beef up the floor. The tank will be in the family room, built into an entertainment unit. I purchased a MR-3 skimmer and Iwaki pump. Still have to make the sump, buy a pump for the return, and all the other stuff I need. I will be posting pics of the build as I'm sure I'll need some advice along the way. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
