Default What to see/do in Montreal?

I'm heading to Montreal November long weekend for the week and was wondering what places to go to, where to eat and, more importantly, what fish stores to go to!

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Afraid I've never been. Would love to one day. Enjoy your trip!

Sainte Catherine is quite the place to go shopping in the days and hang out in the night. You can also go to the old port which is also a really nice place to be day and night.

If you like to go out and take a drink, both place are really great as you can see lots of bar and lounge around

Have fun in montreal!

Check out Steve the Plumb on RC. He is in montreal and has a new tank up and running. I think his thread lists a few local stores.

I recommend Gibby's restaraunt in the old port district.

Thanks for the replies! For sure I'll be going to Schwartz as well as Fairmont Bagels. Can't forget some good old Poutine as well!
