			 Wendell that is a tough question because I think a lot depends on what one interprets as success and what you kind of reef you keep, some require more science than others. That said I do at least sort of agree with the 60/40 ratio. It starts with science and testing but over time you get a feel for it and can often tell when some elements need topping up just by looking.
