Default Crown Jewel in my 270G SPS Reef

Pleased to introduce the arrival of the "Crown Jewel" in my SPS display tank - a pair of Crosshatch Triggers. She is approximately 5" in size and he is approximately 7" in size.

Drop by and see this rare find and grab some wicked frags!

Gorgeous fish! I had no idea they could get so colorful (I've only seen smaller ones I guess)

Did you order them as a pair, or purchase them separately?

Thanks! I am quickly falling in love with these guys. Both are eating now after only 3 days in the tank. Will have a hard time selling them...

I had the option to buy just one, but I elected to get the pair. Observing their behaviour together as a male and female I would highly recommend buying them as a pair, very cool, and would never sell them individually.

Also, these fish are almost never seen small in size, and the male usually looks like the female until they mature (6" size or so).

I say keep them, provided you can provide for them! They are too cool to let go!

Nice fish.

Always assumed for some reason trigger's were considered non-compatible with a reef tank, might have to rethink my stocking.
