Default $40 skimmer, $10 diy

Just got one of these skimmers for my new set up, they are supposed to work fairly well, and dont use a pump/powerhead or anything... just the flow from your overflow (don't think you can use a durso though). People over at RC seem to think they work really well. For $40 i figured its worth a try... of course if you can make it youself it costs like $10. Even if it doesnt work well, i'll plump another skimmer to draw water from the box, so it gets all the churned up water. Wont be able to report on it for about a month or so..
