Default epoxy and skimmer

just a quick question. When I use epoxy in my tank , 2 or 3 pieces for attaching sps, my skimmer goes nuts for days. I tried turning it off and putting carbon bagas in the sump. and eventually this allows me to turn my euroreef back on. But last time it was 3-4 days of no skimming. I dont like this , so just wondering what others experiences were??

My skimmer is an ASM (very similar to Euroreef) and it doesn't change when I use superglue gel. Never tried epoxy though.

Mine (ASM) foams more when I use epoxy but doesn't last more then a few hours. When I use epoxy I just turn the skimmer down a bit and turn it back up in the morning. Not sure why your skimmer goes crazy for so long.
