Default Lowering PH ?

Mine has been riding high for awhile 8.6 + (week) and my RBTA has'nt been happy for about the same amount of time. Have'nt added anything for raising it. Stopped using kalk in the mean time. Lots of info on raising PH, but not lowering it. Dumb question ?

A Calcium Reactor will bring it down...it also gives you an excuse to get one if you don't have one!

There's an article on lowering pH in the Reef Chemistry "Sticky" thread in the Reef Forum.

I have to agree with Harvey - one of the best pieces of equipment I have. You can also try vinegar, soda water or even shortening your light period.
