![]() $25 is what they should be. Let's put it this way, the cost of this fish is NOT $17.50+.

![]() $25 is a deal.
This is off topic, but has anyone kept one for longer that 4-5 months. From what I'v read, I haven't heard much of long term success with these fish. It seem as though they end up dead regardless of healthy specimen eating and all. Through my experiences, they have died after eating all the aiptasias and feather dusters. I initially thought that due to the reason that they didn't eat prepared food they sucummed to malnutrition, but that's may not be the only reason. I've heard of my instances where the fish readily eats frozen and is overall healthy but still dies after a few months. There must be something else missing in it's diet. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() I have had mine three months or so, it is doing great.
I made sure it was eating in the store. Also haveing a lot of life in the tank helps, it finds lots to eat besides the frozen mysis I feed it. |

![]() I had Bandit for over a year in a 50gal, then he went to a bigger tank. Got him at Wai's for about $35, which I consider a pretty good price for a healthy fish that survives. No sense in replacing bargain fish every few months.
![]() I agree with Will, a varied diet of meaty foods seems to help.
