aqua-safe ro/di units

for those of you that have purchased one, what setup did you get? I'm looking at the full blown "combo" deal one.

how many other's have gone this route, who goes with just the ro/di units and nothing else, and why?

What the heck? I bought the same system for a new tank at my office last month and this was only USD115.00 + shipping and GST. It was the maximus system with the free psi and tds meter.


oh, sorry, I see you get extra filters.

How's the water in Regina? I know in BC, our tds from tap is about 15-20. The filters will basically last a very long time. I think by the time I get a bad tds reading, I would've lost the spares already! Unless you're sharing with someone or selling the extras, I'd say just go for the maximus system without the extra supplies.

it's around 300-400 I'm told. never tested myself.
