Default Which skimmer to use

Hello,

I am getting a 27 gallon hex tank and was curious as to which hang-on style skimmer would be the best one for these tanks (wont be running a sump). Not sure of the dimesions of the tank yet (will be picking it up later this week) but knowing the hex style tanks it wont have alot of room for a hang-on skimmer.

Thanks
Paul

I would go with the AquaC. Its a little more expensive compared to Prisms, or BakPaks, but it is a different style and a much better (more efficient) skimmer in my opinion.

Aqua-C Remora & Remora Pros seem to be the most highly rated of the HOB according to my research. I'm happy with my R-Pro.

I've heard really great things about the Deltec MC500 or MC600. The Coralife SuperSkimmer is also suppose to be a very good skimmer.
