Default Bubble algea

Usually if you want to remove bubble algea you are better off to take the rock that it is attached to out of the tank and pick or scrape it off. If the bubble bursts in the tank it will spread the spores all over resulting in an even worse problem. If you managed to blast them off the rock intact and then remove them you might be OK. The water change will probably help also. Just my experience with these pests as I did pop one in the tank when trying to remove and about 2 weeks later had a great big bunch of them.
